MY STORY

I have always loved creating. I have always found myself drawn to the creative process, artists, and finding beauty in the world. I find joy in dabbling in lots of different mediums, sectors, and finding the intersections between them. In my day-job, I teach Kindergarten - 5th grade STEAM, a blend of STEM and the arts, and it feels like a perfect way to bring those curiosities to life. I was drawn to acrylics in high school and studied fine arts while attending Gonzaga University, mostly focusing on oil painting. When the world shut down in March of 2020, I taught myself to paint with watercolors. I've found myself continuing to explore all three of these mediums and I'm constantly seeking out new techniques to try.
