MY STORY
I have always loved creating. Since I was a little girl, I have found myself drawn to art, artists, and finding beauty in the world. I'm a super curious person and find joy in dabbling in lots of different mediums, sectors, and finding the intersections between them. In my day-job, I teach Kindergarten - 5th grade STEAM, a blend of STEM and the arts, and it feels like a perfect way to bring those curiosities to life while helping bring up the next generation. My artistic journey has had its ebbs and flows, as many do. I was drawn to acrylics in high school and studied fine arts while attending Gonzaga University, mostly focusing on oil painting. When the world shut down in March of 2020, I decided to teach myself to paint with watercolors. I've found myself continuing to explore all three of these mediums, among others, and I'm constantly seeking out new techniques to try. I don't believe yet in sticking to one artistic style, there's just too much to explore, but I'll let you know when I do.
